Actually not Opel but the Ford ( Ford V3000S ) G917 Maultier. The vehicles were named Sd.Kfz.3b in the Wehrmacht. The halftrack type based on a couple of the trucks. Mercedes-Benz L4500 , Opel Blitz 3.6-36S/SSM , Ford V3000S and Klöckner-Humboldt, Deutz S3000S/SSM (KHD Magirus S3000).

Well it does carry a rather large USA star on the hardware, So the former colonials may be absolved of this sin. To be fair, the English did pay it off in 1968.
