Not sure that is a G-2. Looks more like an E-7 to me.

hey cousin this chap eventually went on to pilot a Do 217 that I have mentioned as well as a Bf 110G-4 as CO of II./NJG 5 before he was killed in an accident. 10 victories.

Good picture. Unusual ASM stencil on cowl. Looks to be a G-6AS with the very deep Fo 987 oil cooler. Would have to assume an AS with the MW50. Would be early summer to late summer '44 and noting the warm weather.

Very difficult to say if -6AS or -14AS, they can be pretty much same with early AS. Looks to have the Erla-Haube adapter frame, so could be reworked fuselage.
