It looks like the kind of a rigid support or anchoring against the wind blows. Here the another Bf 109G-14 of the 16./JG5 with the same stick under the wing.

Yes, I am not sure about these wood props, also seen on # 2992 . Note neither aircraft has chocks. I don't know, but I wonder if this could have been a field method to allow start without chocks and then, when started, they could just power "over" the wood props to taxy away?
They are not control locks, the Bf 109 F/G has a integral stick-lock in the cockpit. Rudder is locked with external clamp on the upper mass-balance.

Hi,
Yes, Messerschmitt list the WNF production in the 13000-14000 blocks as follows:
WNF. F-4 13001-13185, 13187-13390.

WNF. G-2 13401-13450, 13452-13533, 13535-13600, 13602-14000.

So, 13454 was in that second block of G-2.
The blocks of airframe numbers would presumably reflect RLM contracts. Possibly, the RLM ordered a number of each type or sub-type, such as G-2 or G-2Trop, at various dates as numbers of aircraft they wanted at the time, and Messerschmitt allocated the Werk-Nr according to their own numbering system.

It is a Bf 109T "Yellow 7"of the I./NJG 101 at Manching in 1943. There was also the "N" letter on the left of the emblem. The Nachtjager emblem is modified with a small "s" letter at the top right corner of the emblem shield what probably denotes the "schule".
