It does look like the fairing is indeed etched in the fuselage but without any relief.

looks good. Not much progress I'm afraid. I pinched my sciatic nerve on my second nightshift and was barely able to walk for the next two nights. When I was operating the 16 on the third night, I had to use both hands to lift my leg up to the inching pedal. This is like a clutch in a car or truck and is used to start off and to shift from forward to reverse. My model room is downstairs and it was hard to negotiate stairs for the first day off. Day two off and it was like nothing had ever been wrong, however..........that night I absolutely crushed my pinky toe into a non-movable bed post. Swelling has finally gone down enough for me to get back to it. Wings is on...
I'm going to attach the rudder and then put this on hold. As mentioned earlier, I'm sure I have a book that has another shot of what is said to be a black Hellcat on the ground. If I can't find it this will become a plain old boring blue one
3 feet? Heck, you weren't even trying.Aw.....c'mon Eduard. This lil part required 15 minutes on the floor to find its partner. It bounced about 3 feet from where I was sitting
