F4U1-A Corsair (Lonesome Polecat.) VF-17 Jolly Rodgers, flown by Lt. M.W. Davenport. 6 kills. Modled after his plane from November 1943 at Ondonga. Hobby Boss Kit, 1:72 scale, aftermarket decals.

After a repaint and a few other "issues" she's done. I think I got the melted spruces at the right scale for the antenna cables, and I THINK the one behind the cockpit on the side is in the right place.
 
I forgot to mention that the landing gear is off a Tamiya. Not too much altering to get them to fit. I think it was worth it because the Tamiya langing gear had more detail, especially the wheels.
 
Damn that's lovely! Can I ask, did you just pick up a special decal sheet for the 9? I'm going to be needing a 19 and an M-S. There are special decal sheets, right? As you may have guessed, I'm a real pro at this, lol.
