I've used this method for years! Its tiresome at times but the end result and a feathered edge which is less than 0.5 mm is well worth it.
Using A4 paper I mark up the camo' lines then cut the strip to only 2 mm wide, then stick the none sprayed edge down, ensuring you spray directly down at the line, the result is as near damn it what you see on a real kite.
