I thought some members might be interested in seeing these. Right & left squadron Insignia from a Fiat CMASA RS.14 seaplane, 170th squadriglia, out of Augusta, Sicily. My grandfather, a Merchant Marine Capt, presumeably while anchored in harbour, rowed out and cut these off a partially submerged plane. No examples of this elegant plane survived the war, and I have spoke to several museums in Italy who say these are the only known examples.
