I seem to have missed this somehow - presumably due to being more or less out of action for so long.
John, that is a real cracker, an excellent job !
I've never done a '262, of any variant (apart from the old Revell 1/72nd scale, back in about 1965!), and this makes me want to add one to the collection.
 
Thanks again for the positive comments! The Hobby Boss went together very well and I recommend this kit for anyone wanting to add a Schwalbe to their collection. Doing the Nightfighter version should be easier now that HB is offering a specific B-1a/U1 kit soon...

John would you mind pointing me to that article? Fantastic build of yours! How I would like one of mine to turn out one day! I did find the following image online from when Red 12 was in the UK that confirms that the forward starboard engine nacelle was an unpainted "replacement" for the original, which is sort of hinted at in the oft published view from 10 o'clock ground level.
