Good stuff Robert. Any chance you can take some pics with better lighting? It's tough enough judging from pics but when the pics are marginal it's almost impossible.
Thanks guys, I am sure I can get some better pictures tomorrow. I am also working on building a lite box for future pics because I have such poor lighting in the house.

Strange that the canopy didn't want to take paint. If you have this problem in the future, try using pre-painted strips of clear tape, it works well, although a little fiddly to apply.

Great advice, also I just gave the canopy a wash with a mild solvent, I may have been fighting finger oils or other issues as I only dry wiped it before painting.
