Good effort on the model, & interesting subtle 'mirror-wave' camo-scheme, on the potent medium bomber.

Do you know what job it had?

Some nocturnal maritime task, like mine laying, perhaps?
Or was it a weather recce machine?

The plane was in principle the bombing and reconnaissance mission North Sea.
but after entering operating the Nacht (night fighters) units, transformed into coach night fighters, they repainted with this scheme, or at least that I could find, I can not confirm that this is absolutely true, but at least photos of the plane exist.
