The Blackburn Shark was 1st introduced into service with the British fleet in 1935 with no 810,820,821 Squadrons,820 Squadron was on HMS Courageous.Replaced as a first-line aircraft in 1938 by the Swordfish they continued to be used as a fleet air arm trainer and communication aircraft up to the beginning of the war.I 1st built one of these just over 40 years ago and love its very basic shape and design,the plan is to build a float version of this aircraft as they were used as spotter/ recon dutys
