I'll be using two kits, Eduard 1/48th F6F-3 for the quality of the kit.
Hobby Boss F6F-3N not just for the ra-dome, but it has some better details, annnnd it was cheap!
So as most have seen I ended up using only the wings of the HB kit. The have the folded position parts and the canon and radome. I did in the end want the wings folded as I do have another F6F in the cabinet the Reecee version with cameras. Happy with the results. That F'n cannon tho! Someone should make a bras replacement!!!!!!!!
So I start with two Extra views, wings lowered!

It wasn't difficult. The Hobby Boss comes with changeable inserts....
