Here is some back ground info

IL-4-Most used medium attack bomber by Russia could reach speeds of 261 mph, Service ceiling was 30, 840 ft, carried 2205 ilbs of bombs 1000kg 4 seat attack plane

Ju 86- 4 seat medium bomber. 202 mph. 19,360 ft sc, bomb load 2205 lbs

G4M3-292 mph, seven seat bomber. sc 30,185 ft. 1764LBS of bombs.

THese are bombers that aren't really mentioned and i would like to see your opions.

My opion is the IL-4

You need to do some research on the aircraft first.

The Junkers Ju 86 should not even be in this for consideration.

Why?

Because it was retired from bomber duties after the attack on Poland.

Why?

Because it was found to be inferior to the He 111 and the Ju 88.

In 1940 the Ju 86Ps came into service as High Alltitude Bombers with less than 50 being converted from previous models.

Only 2 operated for a number of years as photo recon over England and Russia.

So a plane that was mostly used as a photo recon aircraft should not be compared to bombers.

A more accurate thread would be: G4M3vs.Ju 88vs.Il-4 or G4M3vs.He 111vs.Il4.....

Agree with Adler. The Ju 86 was made into a high altitude recon that even Spits couldn't reach unless modified. They had a hard time bringing them down. Several were also used as transports for Stalingrad. But thats about it.
