My decals are in for my next GB 44 build but still waiting on the Hasegawa kit.
Canuck symmetrical decals for a CF-188. Where do I find good pictures of Canadian
Hornets from the 80s and early 90s? Only finding more recent ones.- John

I have the canopy on and "twist tied" with bread wrapper ties. I also added a set of
gear doors to the main landing gear. I tried the wing fit and it is excellent. I am
considering painting the fuselage then painting the wings and adding the wings to
the fuselage as a completed unit except for drop tanks and missiles. I have never done
it this way but have seen it done at various forums. The fit of the wings was very snug,
I'll have to practice up on my "finesse". LOL- John

First I've seen the use of wire ties but why not.

Thanks, actually here in the U.S. wire ties are for just that ---wire. These are twist ties used on
bread bags, such as Wonder Bread. - John

The decals arrived today. I was waiting on them as they have painting instructions. I am
painting the wings seperate from the fuselage and needed to know the colors and demarcation
lines. - John

To be more specific the demarcation lines for the grey color on the tail
and the grey area on the rear fuselage from the NMF. I'm NOT doing a
SEA camouflage plane.- John

The wing tip launch rails are added and wings painted. I also assembled the wing drop tanks.- John
