So the HB TBM-3 offers the option to fold the wing on their build. The way they do that is by a rudimentary plastic fold section. No detail is there at all. This is where the Eduard TBM exterior kit helps out with the surface detail and so enchased detail on the inner wing.
Thanks all, stated cutting and pasting.
First the wing fold section from the kit is pretty bland. The Eduard update helps this a lot.
With out
With. There are pipes that run through the face and Eduard has them in pe but I'm still thinking I'll try using lead wire as it is will give the depth.
Next step, start cutting!
Working the wings. Oh and don't think for a second I'm using all this PE. I got more PE in the mail.
I know it looks messy, I'm using SG gel as the cement. The is slow tedious work.
One of the reinforcing sections flew away. my replacement. PS I lost another this morning.
Cockpit and Bombay!
The Second one, but I am partial.
