Slow progress as usual, but doing what I can, when I can... hasn't been easy!
Engines aren't as easy a fix as I thought (atleast not for me), and it's not over yet, but they WILL look like BMW's when they're done!!!
My wife thinks I torture myself on purpose. Getting a smooth join between the cowl fronts and intake tubes (ie., drinking straws) has been a slow and trying process. Still not perfect.
Re the Riedel starter motors and engine faces, among options tried, I finally did my first castings, using the Dragon He 162 part as a master (first in the line in pic, two casts folllowing). Though not bad, I will probably be using two Dragon Me P.1101 components instead (one of which closest the cowlings), simply because they look more accurate.
Doing various bits on the Rollwagen too, this has also taken a bit of sanding and filling...
Hopefully more progress to show in the near future!
