While not at war with each other, Mexico and Brazil did fly American aircraft during the war.Weren't there two South American countries at war with each other but not anyone else during WW II?
Thank you Ralph! Yes, I am aware of this aircraft. Unfortunately, there is both a lack of information and absence of a firm agreement on the colors of the TAF Fw 190s. My assumption and opinions of people who I follow on this issue point to the fact that all of these aircraft were indeed in 74/75/76 scheme. However, there were some cases where there were some differences. Please see the picturesYou considering this 1/32 (Hasegawa)? Interesting that the markings are a bit different on the tail and front fuselage? The web thread does speculate that this kite had parts, and coloring's, from RAF units. A weird bird at the least.

I agree. I hope someone does the Mk.V. Unfortunately, I do not have it in my stash.A Turkish '190 would be a great entry - especially alongside a Turkish Spitfire Mk.V.
Ok so questions, Can anyone help to ID when this unit was captured? The Me 410B-6/R2, I need to confirm it was captured and tested in these colors with in the dates set for the GB, I believe it will fall with in the Sep 45 time frame of the war years, (US held the WWII end date Sep 46 during occupation forces, but what do I know).

It's the Academy Gustav mould with a Special Hobby sprue with the parts to make a Dora. There are 4 marking options for Rumanian, Slovakian, Hungarian and Bulgarian machines.

Banana Yellow!!!Orangeor banana yellow
It's going to be difficult to choose. I am leaning towards the Hungarian or Bulgarian options but haven't decided for definite yetIf we were voting? My vote would be for 'C' and 'A' second choice. Wish I would have found this kit earlier. Special Hobby seems to have upped their game on molding quality. Will be interesting to see this build in action.
French built a/c flown by the French is probably not such a good idea. But you can always have a Vichy - Hawk:

Great choice and for me it would be "A" or "C" just for that little national colours paint challenge.Good to see enthusiasm building for this GB . Here's what I'm hoping to joi in with

Yea! The banana won! Not to sure I'm keen on the blueberry though. But they 'are' your kits...Went and had a shufti through the stash. I will do them as numbered. I'm not sure how old the Eduard kits I have are; if they are the older ones that are a struggle to close everything up or newer. They are Weekend kits. I don't want to waste time trying to close hatches so if they don't fit closed perfectly they will remain open
