So this a.m. I did some sanding. Both sanded well. Was not surprised the AMMO was harder
than the Vallejo. Both too a rough file nicely. Both took sanding equally as well. I did miss a
line on the Vallejo side so had to apply a thin line!! Which I like from the nozzle tip of the Vallejo.
Smoothed that out with my finger, started sanding about 30 min later, still just a bit soft tho.

Thanks for all the pos comments. This fairing has taken everything I've got.
I've used the red automotive body filler for the build up. Then both Vallejo and Ammo fillers.
Finally had to resort to a have hardened bottle of Mr Surfacer, thinned with lacquer thinner,
then brushed on! Rolled sand paper, sanding sticks, old and new. I think I've got it now.
With the photo Sisu added, above, I now have the panels as they were albeit somewhat rough.
Gawd only knows how I am going to get the Razor back and canopy done. Thinking!!!!!!!

Now I am looking at the shape of the canopy and razor back to the tail. Pattern was taken from side on view of the plane at scale.
It now appears the two panels were replaced with sheet metal smoothing the line to the front of the cockpit to the base of the vert stab.
So looks like more surgery. This kit has front of windscreen attached to the panel extending to the engine cover. I'll have to do some
creative sheet work to front and sides of cockpit! Hmmmmm, inter-esting!!!!!!!!!

Yep, I have those and based my assumptions on them. I do have those panels cut off now and a piece to shape and insert. After I've done some carving. It, like you said, pretty complex. I could be an Airframe tech when I finish!!!!
