Thanks Chaps.
I might get this started today.
After an initial test to see if i could free hand those stripes and had mixed results.
I am now thinking of assembling the fuselage and painting it, then masking and painting the stripes in one direction, then doing the other before adding the wings and tails ?

Goog idea Karl, or you could just paint the whole upper fuselage (ie. all but bottom surfaces) in the darker colour, even after completion, then mask all the lines off and paint the lighter diamond areas in between.

Did think of doing it that way, but thinking it will be easier to keep the stripes evened out doing one direction at a time.

Ok, spent most of today on this.
Cockpit done, unfortunately i think my RLM 66 is a bit dark, but its done now !
Now the fuselage is complete.
Got to make a final decision on how I'm going to tackle the paint scheme.
