The fixed cowling is now un-fixed. The engine is also installed. Not a perfect fit but a bit of tweaking got it to sit straight without binding up with the cowling. I had to shorten the front of the engine for it to fit. There's a few gaps that will need a bit of a mud job, otherwise going good.

Christmas Eve. Anyone else remember losing your mind right about now when you were a kid ? My kids are married, both this year, how time flies ! So I have finished painting so the next item on the agenda, Decals, cue Twighlight Zone theme. My least favourite task. The kit decals turned to baby poo the minuit they hit the water. A couple survived but died a painful death as I tried to position them on the model. Hit the spares box so this ride is going to be a bit fictitious looking I'd imagine. Hope everyone has a great and safe Christmas !
