The pilot pictured below is Mariya Dolina. Born in Siberia, she moved to Ukraine with her parents and took flying lessons as a teenager. She joined the air force and became one of the best pilots of Raskova's 125th Regiment. She described herself as being "impulsive and excessively restless," but flew seventy-two successful missions. She died in 2010.

Maureen Dunlop is may all time favourite, yes!

And all photos of her are very professional too.

For the most of the photos in this thread the important element is obviously the Girl, not the Plane. There are just a few of them where the planes are more attractive than the girls (really? are there any?) And there are less and less photos where one can see a connection between the two elements. I always try to find a picture where the girl and the plane are so nice, attractive, good looking (you name it) that my eyes constantly jump between the two. A good photographer can add a lot as well. For example:
