Hi Kgambit,
very nice work in this small scale.
But what in hell is a "silk purse from a sow's ear"?
Here are 2 pics I took 1n 1980 in the "emperial war museun" in London. Sorry they show their age.

Thanks Michael. Great detail in those pics.

I'm not sure I can retrofit that into the closed wheel well now though. But I'll take a look at them and see. It would have been a LOT easier before I added that external portion back into the kit.
