Hello folks, just getting back into aviation modeling after a 50 year absence. Things have changed just a bit since then...LOL...It's a whole new ball game now. A little bit about myself. Retired US Navy Corpsman/RN...In country Vietnam veteran circa 1972, Naval Support Facility DaNang RSVN. Got there towards the tail end and just in time for the base to be turned over to the So. Vietnamese Navy. Served onboard USS Paul DE-1080, Plankowner, USS Purdy, USS Kilauea, and finally USS Nimitz CVN 68 during my career. Retired in 1995 (broken service). Model wise, I really love the WWI and WWII aircraft, more so than modern aircraft. Just purchased a few airbrushes, now trying to learn how to use them. Glad to be here and back into the hobby. Also I to, love WWI and WWII planes more than the modern ones, although the first three that I ever built were modern. However even more than that, I ADORE tanks.
