Hi all. Just a quick question please- does anyone know if the Hurricane mk.1 have the same size wheels and tires as the spitfire mk.1? I'm planning to build a Battle of Britain era Hurricane model and can't find good tires for it but have an excellent set of spitfire mk.1 tires- was wondering if these would be compatible?

    Thanks1

I don't have facts to back this up but I believe the Hurricane tires were a larger diameter.

Yep, different size and profile tyres on the Hurricane. A set of very good Hurricane resin wheels/tyres can be had from True Details in 1/48th scale, and from Grey Matter Figures in 1/32nd scale.
Below is a pic of the True Details wheels, in 1/48th scale.
