OK - - I guess if you are trying to run 44,000 airbrushes simultaneously AND blow holes completely through the plastic and at 83dB that about equal to very heavy street traffic during rush hour. Talk REAL loud

Looking very good. You will be able to pump a wheels of a Monster-Truck or just truck. It shouldn't be any problem now. ;)

but really they also show a compressor with a 3 gal tank as well, is a tank needed or not considering it would probably only get used once a month or so. And I would have to take it to the gas station to fill it back up each time as well

Tim, here is the link to the Anest Iwata site, it should take you straight to the compressor that I have. IWATA-MEDEA • Products • Compressors • Ninja Jet • Medea Airbrush Products
I bought it at Hobby Lobby. It list for $200.00 but if you look in the news paper sales ads and find the HL sales paper you can get a 40% off coupon and get it for 120 like I did. And the airbrush they have hooked to it is the same one I have.

The tank is supposed to smooth the airflow out and allow the compressor to rest and cool off. I use a tankless model and have never had a problem with heat or smooth air flow. you do need a filter, water trap, and regulator. I keep mine at 15psi. Got it on ebay for $65 and it is/was brand new
