This is an IMAM Ro-57bis dive bomber. Due to it's small size, I thought ,at first, it was a fighter. The plane, even though a handsome design, never amounted to much as it was underpowered. The kit is from Special Hobby in 1/72 scle. Nice kit with great details. Each engine is composed of individual cylinders and crankcase. If you try this kit, watch out for the landing gear. Very complicated and fragile.

Well done!
The Ro 57bis was designed as a fighter first. The first Ro 57 MM407 was presented as such, but was not accepted, even it was faster than the MC.200!. So it was reconstructed (=Ro57 bis) and operated as a dive-bomber/attacker with restricted success. The SH kit includes some resin parts for conversion to the fighter (spinner, different back wheel, different armament...) and still requires some scratch, buit is a perfect basis.
