Welcome! Just wondering, what made you finally take the plunge to become a member after 20 years?Good morning everybody,
I am a new member of the Forum, even if I have been reading it during the last 20 years.
Just to introduce myself, I live in Italy and I am very fond of aviation and aviation history.
I have also been building models of WWII aircraft since elementary school.

Welcome to the forum - my "expert" comment was a nod to a Classic (or perhaps legendary) thread and it's original poster regarding the P-39.well, I actually believe that there are great experts on this Forum, including the authors of books that I own and treasure ...

Look for the Groundhog Day thread. Besides being the source of some inside jokes, there really is a lot of good aeronautical information in it. It gets off to a slow start for the first hundred thousand pages but it picks up after a while.Phew ! I was already starting to explore the world of car-doors on fighters !
