The cross-eyed allergy chart that people who need to read it don't.
So it's not a complete waste.
This is restaurant main course matrix.
Has to be done for every menu and every course, so every dish is covered.
I have to declare the 14 main allergens you can see along the top row.
Big fines and even prison if i don't comply with legislation!

One of my bucket list items is to go to London, just to ride a pony. I will studiously study it should I find myself in your restaurant. Little Storping?

Through my school years, I knew but one person who was allergic to something, camels. Now everyone is allergic to something or has ADHD
I don't get it - when I was in grade school, there was one girl out of the entire school that had an allergy and it was for Strawberries.

We all ate peanut butter sandwiches, no one died.
We all drank milk and no one died.
We all ate fruits and veggies (except for Mary Ellen) and no one died.

And that ADHD? We all fit the description of being "hyperactive" - we were active kids with no internet, so we were constantly on the move.

Agreed, you should have seen the labels they tried to pin on our kids when they were in public school, especially our youngest. She inherited my migraine affliction but OMG the BS they came up with to try to "help" her.

There were some close calls with some of the school folk for them to get five to the snot locker.

ADHD seems to be an American problem. Outside of the US they realize that kids (especially boys) were not meant to sit behind desks all day, and that their brains need to be challenged. Its a copout in my opinion.

When I was a kid, I was going to an American school in Germany. My American teacher called my mom and "diagnosed" me with ADHD and said I need drugs prescribed to me. My mom took me to German doctors and other health experts. They determined I was bored and simply not challenged.

Don't take me wrong, I am not saying there are not legit cases of ADHD, but I firmly believe that the vast majority are simply excuses and copouts for a flawed educational system.

On the note of allergies, and how there seems to be a rise in them. I do believe they are on the rise, and i believe its because of all the processed junk and chemicals we put in our food today.

Case in point. My oldest son was having behavioral issues when he first started going to school. We had him evaluated for several things, and it was determined he has an extremely high IQ, but otherwise was fine. They did not recommends drugs, but rather said to find a way to challenge him. We put him in a private, non-traditional school, and now he is thriving and there are no issues. He is not limited to sitting behind a desk, can move around, does not have homework, and there is plenty of time to be a kid. They also tailor his education to his needs and level.

Same with our youngest daughter, after several go rounds we said Lebewohl to that lot and went private and never looked back. She's now 22 and working on her masters degree.

God only knows where she'd be if we'd listened to those asshats.

There was a study recently that suggested feeding very small amounts of peanut butter to babies to help build up a tolerance to peanut allergy.

I have had a pet theory for years that all the things pregnant women are advised not to eat has help boost allergies to lots of foods in their children.

I do think our sanitised lifestyles these days has the same impact.

Just my tuppence worth, no scientific facts to back this up though

Most of us in our eighties ate dirt, played in dirt, and ate whatever our parents could afford. I once convinced my sister to eat green inchworms and she is only slightly retarded as a nutty old neighbor lady today. I did get my butt beat for that incident then, but it is still worth it.
