I had a lot of problems to solve, but finally I managed to fit the gun-sight and finally I assembled fuselage and wings.

The model is almost complete ready to start painting, but I need to wait for canopy masks that should arrive soon.

Preparing for the natural metal finish.
First a coat of gloss white on everything,
Then nearly two days spent masking everything except areas that will be painted gloss black.
And finally the job is done.

A few more shots on the b&w base colour. Tomorrow I will have to retouch the white a bit, then I will be ready to start with metal. hopefully with good results.
