I was familiar with corned beaf as a kid but SPAM.
SPAM seems to be popular in Okinawa.

Spam is almost the national food of Hawaii.

Oddly enough the Hawaiians actually make Spam pretty edible.

Used to snack on Musubi at the hangar while I was in Hawaii for 5 weeks working.
