Grey Catbird

Not the most colourful bird out there but still a super cool winged friend as it is capable of imitating over 20 other bird songs and gets it name from its colour and it's ability to mimic the sounds of cats. The catbird will sit for long periods of time singing to its heart content, constantly changing its song so as to make you think there are a multitude of bird types sitting around.

American Robin

Like most folks from these parts I was always told as a child that Robins flew south for the winter. Well it turns out that if the supply of food holds out so too will these birds. This photo was snapped of a frosty January morning and this fella was one of dozens of Robins plucking berries from the bushes.
