Hi All,
I've been searching for any Luftwaffe Bf 109s active during the D-Day period over Normandy, and came across this profile of a JG3 Erla built Bf 109G-6 which evidently had been loaned or transferred from JG27 due to the green band.
Apparently, this profile was created from a black and white photo of Yellow 6 which exists somewhere, and it has been made into an excellent decal set by Barracuda, but I cannot find the photo on the internet or in the decal set and there is no clue as to where I may find the photo anywhere.
If anyone has the photo or ANY kind of info on this aircraft, please could you let me know.
