Fine color drawings! I would like to suggest if you color the Upkeep weapon there are three possibilities;
a) Black, as some of the participating A/C's bomb were hastily painted black,
b) some of the others' spinning mines were in just red-oxide primer and without finishing. This information is from a German document investigating an actual spinning bomb rolled out from Barlow's A/C which was shot down en route to the dams.
c) earlier in testing the "live" munitions were painted in Dark Green whilst the practice munitions were in Grey. This is from the book "Dambusters Raid" by J. Sweetman.

In case of my Lancaster I made the bomb in Dark Red. As for the designation of the Dambuster Lancs the one can found in the book "The Dam Busters" by J. Falconer is "Lancaster Mk I Type 464 Provisioning."
