Didn't see it there but here are all the Canadians who died in Bomber Command. The picture shows just a quarter of the names. Location: Nanton, Alberta, Canada.

I have to hand it to you Canadians, you know how to honour your countrymen.
The Lancaster gleams and the roll of honour is superb.

I love traveling around and visiting WW2 monuments no matter how small or large and no matter what nation they are a from. We should never forget any of them.

One of the finest and most beautiful monuments I have ever seen is the WW2 monument in Washington DC. I will post some pics up of it later (maybe start a thread for monuments). I am really looking forward to going back to Normandy in July (have not been there since 1994 when I was there for the 50th Anniversary), and getting some pics of the monuments there again.
