Luftwaffe and allied air forces forum question

[CHen10]

Simple question here. I want to register an account with this website Luftwaffe and Allied Air Forces Discussion Forum - Powered by vBulletin but registration has been disabled. Does anyone know why registration has been disabled?

[mjfur]

I'm a member there and all is in working order.

Have you tried here with Registration Problem ticked?

Took me a while for the registration to work but finally got in

I tried clicking "contact us" but I never got a response. When I click registration it says that registration has been disabled by the administrator. Have they recently banned people from registering?

Their forums' registration is closed (as noted above), but the "contact us" form is still active:

I've tried contacting them again and I'm seeing if they'll let me join somehow. I really want to ask a member on there for something and that forum is the only way to contact them.

Who do you want to contact ?

Who do you want to contact ?

There's three people who I think can help me. Their usernames are Nick Hector, Nikita Egorov and HGabor. I don't necessarily need to contact all three but it's a case of if one doesn't have the answer then I think the other one will.

about loss/wins eastern europe i see. perhaps one of our members is in contact with them

[GrauGeist]

Nick Hector is active in several WWII groups on facebook, too.

[CHen10]

What's Nick Hector called on Facebook? Could someone send a link to his account? I think Nikita Egorov would be useful too

[GrauGeist]

Nick is simply "Nick Hector" on FB.

Here's his page addy:

Since I don't know how to locate Nikita anywhere else and I can't register, could someone with an account at Luftwaffe and allied air forces ask Nikita Egorov my question for me? If he doesn't have the answer then I will ask Nick Hector.

Thanks

[Andrew Arthy]

I've just let Nick know about this thread.

Cheers,
Andrew A.

As I understand things the 12 O'clock High site is now quite old and needs a major (effort wise at least) upgrade but the decision has been taken to let the site run as is until the software no longer works, hence the blocking of new registrations.
