Give the guy who makes it a pet on his back. He deserves it.
He has all our admiration for his work, not just these Gunsights and the Navigation lights (for this Me-262 and other aircraft in the museum) he has also made a couple of replacement throttle control rods for the 262 as some were missing. Here are some photos.

Original and 'Basic' Copies side by side - I say basic as we just wanted them to work and they do not need to meet type approval etc as this one will not be flying.
Here they are in position (painted red again as a non-original part). The long one goes from Bellcrank inside the Port wing to the top of the engine. The short one is within the Starboard engine nacelle to connect hydraulic motor which moves the "Zwiebel" as the throttle is opened

Hi all,
back after 2 months touring in the EU and thought I would post some photos of the progress with the gunsight, or as it now turns out in my Gunsights as the Technician now has three 16B's in production - think I should now call him Mr./ Herr Revi. Also gunsight mounts are also being made as well. Next stage is to fit one in the 262.

Very nice.

Hallo...
I am interested in town-history, but there was in my famalyhistory something with the Me262 and this kind of Revi. In the end of 1944, my oncle was in Rheine Westphalia at a airport, to instruct the pilots on a Revi with gyros. As far as i know, he was a yong engineer from Askania. They also has something to do, with the gyro of the V2 (may be V1). (Only words was given in our family history by that).
The question i have is, what kind of Revi with gyros or number, was used in the end of 44, may be 45 on the Me262?
Best regards
ghist

The gyro sight that was planned as standard for the ME262 was the EZ42. By the end of the war they were in production aircrafts in limited numbers, as the production of the EZ42 was not large and hampered by shortages of materials and production facilites. There was also a modifikation kit for the front line aircrafts-again in limited numbers.
If you look at pics from esepecially the Munic/Saltzburg reagion you can find exsampels of front line ME262s with EZ42, as well as photos from ME262 production lines "Waldwerke" that has EZ42 fitted.

Source of photos are LRG, manual own archive
