Melbourne Model Expo (2009) (1 Viewer)

Can never get too many "Cats"!

Great shot and models Wayne!

Wonder what kit that is. Looks like the modeller got gipped with a bum cockpit canopy moulding. Nice clean model. I have the Airfix kit and have always been intimidated with all those small windows during assembly. I just know I would screw them up.

Nicely done!

I think that might be the old Airfix Hudson Matt, it certainly looks like it. The turret might be fitted a bit high though. Always liked the Hudson, much under-rated. Wish there was a good, reasonably priced 1/48th scale kit of it.

If so that's the same one that I have. Hmm... I've dry fitted those fuselage halves and they don't mesh all that well. I'll have to dry fit the canopy glass. Might require some cutting for proper fit.

Next up now my internet is back up to speed!....damn kids..

Heck! I thought that was one of Jan's what ifs?! Looks nice in RAF temperate scheme, didn't know there were any in the RAF in Europe, just Far East, or is it a what if?

Same here. Nice model though.

Beautiful! That camo is really interesting.

Another British marked US aircraft!
