Wurger, do you have any photos that clearly show these emblems?

Wurger, why is the emblem of the GDR Air Force different on some planes?

No, no. I know the camouflage scheme. The question is different. Do you know the names of the colors the plane was painted with?

Most of them are the same I have posted earlier. The difference is the additional brown-chocolate colour. As memo serves the kind of the colour set was applied in Russia where the MiGs were overhauled.

Stas1234

Here are the colour names used for the MiGs overhauled in the USSR ...

Brown ... FS~30206
Light Green ... FS~34226
Dark Green ... FS~34079

Chuhuiv, USSR.
If USSR, then "Chuguev". I would recommend using the traditional transliteration of Russian-language place names if we are talking about Soviet times - it may be helpful if further search for information is necessary. The transliteration of the modern Ukrainian name can be additionally specified.

PS. I bet that the name "Chuhuiv" will cause a chuckle among most Russian-speaking forum members - even though everyone realizes that fricative "h" ([ɦ]) is pronounced in Russian as [g] - just like in the German word "Hitler".
By the way, for the same reason (similarity with obscene words) the USSR did not use the abbreviations IBAP/IBAD for fighter-bomber regiments/divisions, the abbreviations APIB and ADIB were used instead respectively.

Are there any photographs of him at the exhibition in Poznań?

In case it might be useful to you in some way, here is a photo of a MiG-23MS that I took last month at the National Museum of the United States Air Force in Dayton, Ohio. I don't know why I took only one picture of this plane. (I took a total of about 400 photos that day, and I think my brain was fried by the time I got to this plane!)

By the way, I have several hundred pictures of other aircraft (WW1, interwar, WW2, Korea, etc.) that I took at three American museums, You can find them here: Aviation Museums

What is this Hybrid ML and MLD? As I understand it, this is one of five aircraft received by the National Museum of the US Air Force from the former GDR on March 27, 1991. The original B/N was "Red 338", although the West Germans applied "Black 20 15". Served in the 9th Fighter Regiment of the GDR Air Force.

As memo serves the MiG-2 is a mix of the ML variant ( NATO code Flogger G) and the MLD ( NATO code Flogger K ). The tail is from the MLD while the rest is of the plane from the ML. The MiG 23ML serial number 0390324630. It means tha the tail section is not the orginal one.

MiG-23ML – version with improved handling characteristics thanks to a reduction in the aircraft weight by 1,250 kg (L - as in "Light"), with a new R-35 engine with slightly higher thrust, with modified electronic equipment.

MiG-23MLD – a modification of the ML version, D - as dorabotanyj ( Д – доработанный ) - refined, with improved aerodynamics improving the maneuverability of the aircraft.
