Being looking around the net I have found a couple of MicroMir (МикроМир) 1/48 kits of the soviet UT-1 ( Яковлев УТ-1 ) training/aerobatic plane. All kits are of the same set of sprues basically. Also there is a PE set included. The differences are just decal markings and the PE sets ( depending on the indicator panels ). The kit no.48-004 inclides additionall parts for floats. The model can seem to be quite easy to assemble ( not too many pieces ) but we can't require more because the origin kite was just the same. However the appearance of the trainer may draw modeller's eye.

A very good idea Geo. I thought about the one of white with red eges of wings and the tail. Also she is great subject for making from scratch.

Nice ! :thumbright:

The 48-003 kit for the B variant comes with an additional PE set.

I think the PE set is for the float plane ( struts ) and bomb racks for the "White 10". Just being too thin to mould them of plastic
