Hi everybody,
it wasn't in my plans to build the above, but when I was offered a discount by Italeri, I had to choose a kit to purchase and my choice fell to the Mirage IIIC
But which Mirage III? I decided to go for Israeli Shahak, so I also ordered the conversion kit and seat made by Isradecal.
OK, let's have a look on what I've done so far:
Landing gear wells
Cockpit (without the seat, because I'm still waiting for the packet from Israel). Dashboard is from Eduard, side consolle from kit.
Very likely it will try to replicate a mimetic bird like in the 2589 shown in the enclosed Eduard profile, because the only decals I have available are those supplied by Italeri,
More will follow as soon as I get the parts I'm waiting for.
Alberto
Many thanks to all for comments and suggestions.
As it happens often for me, there is a little story behind my models. In this case, the decision on which bird to replicate is based only on a sort of continuation with my previous Israeli model I did a few years ago, this one:
Therefore I started looking for some pictures showing a camouflaged 101 Squadron birds, for some reasons it's not easy to find them, but I will manage, thanks to the help coming from friends like you.

Some updates on my Mirage model:
- glued fuselage to wings, seams filled with Tamiya putty and sanded smooth
- added p.e. parts and sanded again. Some panel line and rivets need to be re-done
- started painting the very nice resin seat I purchased from a French company called Sparkit
I hope you will like my job, so far.
