I've been getting questions on what I'm using to to protect my painted interiors while painting the outside of my models. So here's the big surprise. A/C filter foam..... I have bought the "Duck" brand at my local Wally World but you may find it at most hardware and maybe a different brand. it's very playable and thin enough to work in wheel wells and cockpits with ease.. I keep what I've used as it's quite re-useable. So one package will last you a long long time....

Tend to use the same sort of stuff myself, but it comes from the packing of the little resin kit packets that I buy.

I use makeup sponges found in the lady section at the pharmacy. Easy to cut. Amazon also has a 100 piece set for 14$US

So - I bit the bullet and purchased said microscope and some teeny tiny drill bits to replace all those I have broken recently. The arrival of the microscope did generate a "passionate" discussion with SWMBO as to "exactly why" I needed the microscope... (and I don't mean passionate in the good way!)
