We use McAfee, for free as well. I think its a free option with AOL...Norton is hopeless, doesnt detect anything, and when it does it wont delete it for some reason.

actually Plan could 4-5 antiviral ware and not have any performance probs. I use AVG and also a govt. registered virus ware (sorry cannot make reference to itat this time), also of worth is the German spybot which will take care of your cookies which everyone of you has daily, plus the immunization/update package inclosed. Will tell ya folks Norton/McAffee are just not cutting it whether you have purchased the free year trial or paid your yearly dues they both are not keeping above on top of the daily virus's and thier updates many times do not download

Avast anti virus detects, delete and clear your cookies for you. It runs the whole time while your PC is on and it makes backups of all your files. It updates every two to three days a week and it is free for home use. I have had a few viruses but it detected them and stopped them right there before any damage could be done. It can scan CD's removebale disks and every file on your PC.

So I will rather recommend that if you do not want to have any problems with viruses and such.

Plan-D I would love to have your ram and graphics.

I have a hacked version of NOD 32. I said "hacked" because due to a crack, I have free updates for as long as I wish. (Otherwise I would have to pay every years.)

My friend (who is studying in programing) told me that it was the best Anti-Virus for now. It is as good as McAfee but it doesn't use so much RAM.
