My ww2 Major uniform

Hi, i have this cool looking major uniform made jacked original 2 december 1942
couple ribbons ect. i have bought service stripes that not match the color of the jacked somone told me thats fine. is there like a rule of how high i need to make the service stripes? hope somone can help me im new btw so sorry if i put this topic on the wrong section. thanks! btw that beenie is not part of the uniform hehe

There's alot of resources on the internet regarding uniform regulations.

There are also several WWII re-enactor and preservationist societies that follow U.S. regulations closely. Here's one such society's guide book, which should be of some help:
