the IJN Green from Gunze is too dark to my liking, I will try to lighten it up or use another brand or green...

I like the mask Martin but a necessary addition alls looking good.

for your reference, kawanishi used a Dark green with a hint of blue in it....real nice work so far!

Thnx Vaughan and Wayne..the blue sheen in the green is indeed what I am actualy missing...

I took appropiate action and ordered the paints accordingly...thnx for the heads up...what was I thinking..

continueing with the tedious job of creating cylinder cooling vanes on the second engine row...meanwhile I will experiment with the right and true colors of the shiden...
I thought that gunze IJN Green would do, not realizing yet that there are so many different hues..

Many diffrent "green" colors....To the far left is the IJN Green I used initialy...next to it the Kawanishi green from white ensign ( famed for the right colrs ).
To the far right a green color that is also in the contest...it is close to Revell 363 Dunkelgrun....matching the kawanishi green very close...Am I digging into recouces or what..
