Watching your work on this, and seeing the other birds you have done,I would feel safe with you at the controls of a DC3 flying into a hurricane. Just saw the new 777x,absolutely beautiful.

Okay..okay...nobody told me that airbrushing is not that quite easy and is actually an art that needs to be mastered...

Fellow builders, nothing significant to report when it comes to the progress of the model...but some lessons learned.
My Iwata with its 1,8 mm nozzle just did not do the job when it comes to larger areas, the trick Wurger brought to my attention was some improvement, but by far not enough.
The pattern of the Iwata is too focused and is ideal for very small details, not for the larger areas.
Thus I bought myself an Harder&Steenback Evolution Airbrush with a 4mm nozzle, experimenting at the moment and it looks like it does the job, no more paint streaks on the large areas and much faster to work with.
Results soon...!!
By the way, Alclad does have a limited shelf life, the alu and steel I bought a couple of years ago, the pigment parted with the carrier, the pigment sticks to the glass bottle, no good...
