The paint on the test wing is dull alu...

I noticed that with my bottle of Alclad as well,but after shaking the hell out of it for 15 mins,it seems to be fine. Better shoot this on my b-25 or p-47 before it becomes pooched

Revell 393.....I will have to dilute the paint even further...trying to mimic paint fading due to sun exposure..( back to the drawing board..or Ipad..)

Not sure what you're not liking about that. Try a light wet sanding maybe?

@Crimea, I think the lines are still a bit too hard/obvious, I want a more "blend in" effect, more fading....
Do you think that a light sanding could do the trick..?? Maybe I should dilute the paint even more and create softer lines..??

Well......!!! grit 3000....a bit too enthusiastic...some scars at wing root....what do you think...??!!

The rivets and lines stand out nicely...

Looking quite good. However it seems if you would apply the last green coat thicker , the effect was much better.
