Hi, my name is Bas Kreuger and I am a Dutch aviation historian. Having worked in the Dutch Air Force museum in the 1990's, I've developed an interest in the air war in the Pacific, of course also including the Dutch East Indies AF and Naval Air Service flying Brewster Buffalo fighters, Glenn Martin WH-10 bombers, Dornier Do-24K flying boats etc.
At the moment I am mostly researching the air war over New Guinea 1942 - 1945 and helping a friend of mine who is living and working in West Papua (former Dutch New Guinea) in finding aircraft wrecks around the area he is living (the Vogelkop peninsula). Another one is the Dutch flying from Australia with 18 and 120 Squadron NEIAF/RAAF (Mitchells and Kittyhawks) and nr 19 Transport Squadron.
