Just got this in the mail today and cant wait to get it started. This kit is just brilliant in lots of way and full of detail. I will be building mine with the engine showings. My progress to follow soon

Saw this advertised very recently, and couldn't believe the price, for a 1/48th scale kit - £40 ($56 US) in the UK - that's Hasegawa territory.
It does look good though, but for that price, it should be !
Saw the reviews for this from Brett Green (an unabashed Tamiya fan) and it looks nice. To me, it's a bit gimicky though with the interchangeable cowl settings. And we DON'T need yet another 109 G-6. I wish SOMEBODY would get a new Spit XIV out there.
Looking forward to see what you do with it though.
Small progress tonight. Start gluing subassemblies of the engine and cowling. What can i say the fit is just awesome and full of detail . More progress pics to follow

Small progress on the G-6 cockpit complete . Next to glue fuselage . Going to try and leave the engine off till final finish. Next will be lot of dry fitting to see if possible
