Thanks for looking at the pictures I am now following the beginning of life of two baby hummingbirds who's mother made a nest in my Juniper bush. I will try and keep a photo update on their growth.

Cool shots at PoF Merv. From the size of the crowd in the pictures around the He-162 it looks like you stayed around for quite a while after the Fw-190 flight.

The P-59 is being restored in the hangar behind the He-162 and that is where you probably would have found me.

Your right Wheels, those two were taken at the "Yanks" museum, I forgot to mention that My daughter and I took a wrong turn by signs that said "Special Event" leading to the Yanks Museum, they had three of the "Tuskegee Airmen" CPT. Claude Rowe, SSG. Buford Johnson and LTC. Bob Friend talk about the discrimination, patriotism and heart of the "Tuskegee Airmen" it was an inspiring lecture.

It was very inspiring Aaron, one thing that was said I never heard before, the Tuskegee Airmen had won the first "Top Gun" competition ever held. In 1949 the winner of the competition was listed as unknown in the Air Force Almanac, the trophy somehow had disappeared before it could be given to the winner and as usual records lost. The trophy was finally found in a closet hidden away in 2004, then placed in the Air Force museum.
