Or radiators under the wing stubs between the fuselage and the engine nacelles. You could use Spitfire radiators for that.

Looks familiar:How about a Mustang built light a Lightning?
I still need to do some work on it but I'm happy with it so far. Maybe use the fuselages of A P-82 instead of a P-51 to give it more length
